Family looking to adopt 4

Jason + Amelie

Dear Birth Parent(s),

Hello!

We are Jason, Amelie, Noah, and Isabelle! We thank you for considering adoption. We know this is not an easy decision, and we appreciate you taking the time to learn a little more about us. We have been together for ten years and married for seven. Jason was born and raised on a ranch in southeast Wyoming with two brothers and two sisters. His childhood memories include outdoor adventures like horseback riding, fishing, and family get-togethers. Amelie was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. She spent her summers hiking and winters snowboarding in the Alps. Her multicultural background brings a fun blend of traditions and perspectives to our home. Amelie moved to Texas when she was 17 years old, where she spent 16 years before settling in southeast Wyoming a decade ago. Jason has been working as an electrician for the past 14 years. Amelie spent eight years working in early childhood and is currently a special education teacher at the high school level. Our backgrounds show a commitment to nurturing and educating children, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to grow.

We are raising two amazing children: Noah, 16, and Isabelle, 15. Noah will be a senior in high school and loves driving around, hanging out with friends, hiking, watching movies, playing video games, working out, and wrestling. Isabelle will be a sophomore in high school and loves hanging out with friends, shopping, chilling at home, watching movies, doing puzzles, and playing volleyball. We have experienced both joy and heartache while trying to grow our family. We have faced the challenges of infertility, experiencing the pain of three miscarriages and one unsuccessful IVF attempt. These struggles have led us to reflect on the many ways to build a family and have ultimately brought us to the path of fostering and adoption. Fostering has been a significant part of our lives over the past 4.5 years, bringing over 30 children into our home. We love helping children during challenging times, always working to maintain open relationships with their parents as they work towards reunification. Through fostering, we have learned to be compassionate and understanding and realize the importance of family connections. We treat our foster kids as our own and love giving them unforgettable opportunities while they are with us, including swimming lessons, music classes, preschool programs, trips to the zoo, feeding cows on the ranch, going to brandings, and traveling within the United States and abroad.

We love spending time outdoors, whether hiking, snowboarding, skiing, riding horses, gardening, or enjoying time with our animals (two dogs, three cats, 30 chickens, many horses, and cows) on the ranch. You will also find us cheering on Noah at a wrestling tournament and Isabelle at a volleyball game or tournament. We love to travel in the United States and abroad. We have been fortunate to take trips to Texas, South Dakota, Montana, California, Arizona, and Utah. Last summer, we spent three weeks in Europe, traveling through Italy and Switzerland, and we went on a family Caribbean cruise over Christmas. We are excited and anticipating the possibility of expanding our family through adoption. Our home is filled with laughter, fun experiences, and love, and we are eager to share this with a child. We believe in encouraging curiosity, creativity, and kindness and are ready to provide a loving and supportive environment for a child to grow.

Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your precious child. We understand that this decision is very important, and we want you to feel confident in the choice you make. We are excited about the possibility of welcoming a little one into our hearts and home. We are ready to provide a loving, stable, and nurturing home for a child where they can grow, learn, and succeed. If you choose us, your child will be embraced by a caring family that understands the importance of love, resilience, and the unique bonds that come with adoption. We believe in maintaining an open and honest relationship with you and are open to sharing letters, photos, and visits according to your comfort level.

With lots of love and support,

Jason, Amelie, Noah, and Isabelle
