Waiting families
Cory + Stephanie
Dear Birth Parents,
We first of all want to thank you for considering our family to be the Adoptive Parents of your child. We can think of nothing more selfless than the act of adoption. We are eagerly hoping to grow our family through this process and are here for any support we can possibly offer.
We live in a small town close to the schools. Our little cul-de-sac neighborhood is safe and quiet. It has been a wonderful place to raise our daughter. We are surrounded by very loving family members who all support one another. We are often having cook-outs, birthday parties, and play-dates. The opportunity for adoption was our number one reason for relocating. We needed to make financial changes in order to grow our family and the opportunity presented itself through a new job for Cory.
Quality family time is our highest priority. We always make time to spend together. We eat dinner at the table together every evening and discuss how our day went and any upcoming plans. We love to spend time outside playing or taking our dog on walks. Some of our other favorites are reading books from our enormous collection, board games, arts and crafts, and practicing sports.
Who We Are:
Cory is described by all who know him as being generous, hard-working, determined, and above all- patient. Cory graduated with his BA Degree in Elementary Education. He worked as a Middle School Math Teacher for 11 years. During this time, he was also the Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. After moving to Wyoming, Cory is now an Operator at an Oil Refinery.
Stephanie is best known for her love of children, organizational skills, empathy, and patience. Stephanie dreamed of a house full of kids that she could be home for. Stephanie graduated with a BA in Child Development and later her MA in Early Childhood Education. Learning as much as she could about young children fostered her passion for her career and parenting style.
Claire is energetic and always up for any kind of play. Claire loves to go to dance class, the library for books and movies, and play with her cousins. She often talks about how excited she is to have a baby to help take care of and play with. She is already practicing with her baby cousin and all of her dolls!
Adoption Dream:
We both knew immediately in our relationship that we wanted to start a family. We began trying for a child soon after our wedding. On November 22, 2018 (Thanksgiving Day!!) our Claire Bear was born.
Shortly after, Stephanie began to develop severely painful symptoms and was diagnosed with Endometriosis. After years of pain and no relief from medication, a hysterectomy took place. We decided very quickly that we were not done expanding our family and began our research on adoption. Not only would we be getting our dream, but maybe we could make someone else’s dream come true- by giving their child a life that will be filled with opportunity, support, and most of all, love.
A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes:
Our dream is to grow our family. We want to give all of the love in our hearts to your child. We want to bless our daughter with the sibling she so desperately hopes for. Most of all, we want to help.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to our story. We hope to make you and your child part of it soon.
Cory, Stephanie, and Claire
