Sarah Whitman
Board Member
Sarah Whitman was born and raised in Wyoming and has been a registered nurse for more than 20 years. She currently serves as a nursing instructor at the University of Wyoming, where she is dedicated to educating and mentoring future nurses.
Adoption has been a central part of Sarah and her husband Brad’s journey as parents. They welcomed their daughter through the Wyoming Children’s Society, and later expanded their family with the adoption of their two sons, also through Wyoming Children’s Society. Embracing open adoptions, their family has built meaningful connections with each of their children’s birth families. Sarah and Brad are passionate advocates for adoption, with a particular focus on supporting and honoring birth mothers and families throughout the adoption process.
Outside of her professional and advocacy work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Together, they love camping, riding dirt bikes, and making memories at the lake.
