D.J. + Paige
Hi! We are D.J., Paige, & Cylus. We thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us. We believe that making the difficult decision to place your child for adoption is the ultimate act of love and bravery. We hope to provide you with peace of mind and assure you that we will do everything possible to provide a fun, loving, and nurturing environment for your child.
Paige was born in South Carolina and D.J. was born in Wyoming. We both wanted to stay close to D.J.’s younger siblings, so Paige moved to Wyoming from Colorado in 2009 and we were married in 2012. We welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Cylus, in 2022. Our relationship with Cylus’ birth mom is such a blessing to us and we love her more than we ever thought imaginable. We know in our hearts that this is the path that was always meant for our family.
I, Paige, want you to know that one of the things that drew me to D.J., is that he is the person that brings people together. D.J. is such a friendly, outgoing, kind, responsible, and loving person and I have never come across anyone who has a bad thing to say about him. He truly sees the absolute best in people and always works hard to make sure everyone feels included. He is the most attentive father to Cylus and a true partner to me.
I, D.J., want you to know that one of my favorite aspects of Paige is her tremendous ability to spark joy, laughter, love, and growth in others. Whenever she is around a group of people, the joy and laughter builds and builds. She is the epicenter of that growth and she has the innate ability to get people to smile, laugh, and have a good time. She is the most amazing mother and I feel so thankful to be on the journey of parenthood with her!
We want you to know that Cylus is a happy and funny little boy! He loves other kids, dogs, and making everyone laugh. He has been the biggest joy in our lives and we know he will love being a big brother. Anytime he sees another child he runs up to them to say “Hi!” and give them a big hug!
We enjoy traveling and going on adventures together. In the summer, you can find us hiking, camping, or floating the river. In the winter, we enjoy snowboarding and cozy game nights at home with friends and family. We are big fans of anything Marvel, Harry Potter, or Star Wars. But most of all, we love doting on Cylus and our two dogs, Delilah (the smallest who runs the house) & Sawyer (the princess who thinks she is a person)!
Our families provide an abundance of love and support to us on a daily basis. A great deal of our family either live in the same town as us, or very nearby, so we get together as frequently as we can. All of them are so excited to welcome a new baby to our family!
We want you to know that, before we have even met you, we already admire, love, and respect you. We also acknowledge what a difficult decision this is and understand the strength, courage, and the love for your child’s future that this takes.
Thank you for taking the time to consider us, we truly appreciate how meaningful this decision is for you. We will do everything in our power to make sure any child in our home receives unconditional love and support. We understand and acknowledge that you are an essential part of this child’s life story and we celebrate you for your selflessness.
