Waiting families
Chad + Gabrielle
Hello! We are Chad & Gabrielle. We are so excited to grow our family through the gift of adoption.
We live on a cattle ranch in the Big Horn Basin in Northern Wyoming. We have always dreamed of raising a family on the ranch, with wide-open spaces, animals to care for, room to explore, and a home filled with faith, love, and purpose.
Even before we were married, adoption was something we both felt called to. That desire has only grown stronger over the years. After struggling to conceive naturally, we felt even more certain that God had put adoption on our hearts for a reason.
Both of us were born and raised within 20 minutes of each other in Oregon. We had several mutual friends but didn’t officially meet until our senior year of high school. I (Gabrielle) was moving 4 hours away for University that fall, so we decided to take the leap, started dating and continued to date long distance through our college years.
Just a couple weeks after college graduation we got married. July 9th 2016.
Over the next few years we started working toward our “someday” dream of having a cattle ranch. It’s funny how quickly things can happen when God opens the doors, we found land to lease and before we’d even been married a year we bought our first group of cows.
Now fast forward 10 years, I, Gabrielle, work from our home office running my digital marketing agency that I started in 2017. Chad also works from home managing the ranch. When I started my marketing business back in 2017 I did it because I knew someday I wanted to be a mom, and when that time came I wanted to be able to be at home to raise my children.
In addition to managing the ranch, Chad volunteers with our rural fire department and does welding/fabrication projects from time to time. When it comes to building and fixing things, well, that’s his specialty!
When I’m not working you’ll find me giving horse riding lessons to local kiddos, working with our young horses, cooking or making sourdough.
In our spare time, you’ll often find us riding horses, taking weekend trips into the mountains, traveling when we can, going for a sunset walks on the ranch, working in the garden, and working a little projects around the ranch.
We have a full crew of critters here on the ranch. Currently we have two cow dogs, Leroy and Callie. Five horses, June, Jace, Baylee, Pilot, and Zippy (the first time I rode Zippy I was 7 years old, she’s the old lady of the ranch soaking up her retirement years).
We love when friends and family come visit, especially when they bring their kids. Watching children run free, play outside, collect eggs, pet the horses, ride along to check cows, climb fences, throw rocks in the canal, and discover the simple wonder of ranch life is something that never gets old.
Those moments have made us dream even more deeply about raising a child here.
We want to share this life with a child — not just the beautiful parts, but the meaningful parts. The early mornings, the baby calves, the muddy boots, the garden vegetables, the mountain air, the barn kittens, the lessons learned from caring for animals, and the feeling of being rooted in a place where there is room to grow.
We are a first-generation ranching family, working hard to build an operation that can someday be passed on to the next generation. More than land or cattle, though, we hope to pass on faith, work ethic, kindness, resilience, gratitude, and a love for the life God has given us.
I, Gabrielle, want you to know that one of the things that first drew me to Chad was his heart. He is incredibly kind-hearted, strong, and wise. He has an easygoing personality and a great sense of humor, and people naturally feel comfortable around him. He wears many hats — husband, rancher, welder, son, firefighter, and friend — but the one I hope he will be able to wear someday is “Dad.”
I have seen the way Chad notices what needs to be done and simply does it. I have seen him care for animals, help family and neighbors, work long days without complaint, and bring calm to stressful moments. He is steady, patient, protective, and full of quiet strength. I have no doubt he will be an incredible father.
I, Chad, want you to know that one of the first things I noticed about Gabrielle was how everything seemed drawn to her — people, kids, horses, and dogs alike. She has a way of making others feel safe, seen, and cared for.
I have watched her with our nieces and nephews, the kids she teaches through riding lessons, and the foster children and babies we have cared for, and I am constantly amazed by her gentleness and patience. She leads with love and fairness. She teaches kindness, honesty, responsibility, and courage in a way that makes children feel valued. She has been a blessing to so many people, especially me, and I hope one day she can share that same love with a child in our family.
Our home is filled with warmth, faith, laughter, animals, and plenty of space to welcome a child. We would be honored to provide a life full of love, stability, support, and family traditions. More than anything, we would love the opportunity to love a child and raise them with deep care, joy, and intention.
We also want you to know that we do not take this journey lightly. We are deeply grateful for your choice to give the gift of life to your baby. We see the incredible strength, love, and courage in that decision, and we want you to know that we hold deep respect for you.
If we are blessed with the opportunity to adopt your child, we want you to have peace knowing your baby will be raised in a home filled with love, faith, family, and room to become exactly who God created them to be.
Our heartfelt prayer is that your child finds the home and family that is meant for them. Thank you for considering us as part of your journey.
With love,
Chad & Gabrielle
