Waiting families
Brian + Brytni
Dear Birth Parent,
Hi! We’re Brian and Brytni, and we’re so excited to share our story with you. We truly appreciate you taking the time to get to know us. Our journey together has been filled with love, laughter, and the heartfelt decision to grow our family through adoption. We first became interested in adoption about five years ago, after struggling with infertility and not being able to carry a full-term pregnancy. Adoption became a topic we kept returning to, even though finances and uncertainty made it feel out of reach at times.
We have known each other since childhood because I was best friends with his cousin. After exploring our own paths in life, they finally crossed in 2008 when we realized our feelings for one another was more than just friends.
We both were born and raised in Western Nebraska. We were married in October of 2010 and have been married for almost 16 years. Family is at the center of our lives. We spend holidays with our extended families, who are thrilled to welcome another child. We value kindness, curiosity, and honesty, and we are excited to raise a child who feels deeply loved, supported, and stable.
We share a 10-year old son Breken who is kind, thoughtful, and has a way of brightening every room he enters. Being his parents has strengthened our faith, deepened our empathy, and taught us to appreciate life’s small moments. He is excited about the idea of a sibling and has a loving, gentle nature that will make him a great big brother.
Brytni is a dedicated Registered Nurse and finds her work to be very rewarding. Brian is an Electrician by trade but also helps a lot on his family’s cattle ranch. We do a lot of camping in the summertime; we have a camper and take our 2 dogs and head out. We also travel quite a bit with family living in Colorado, Ohio, and Alabama. We try to take a trip or two a year whether it’s to see family, going to Yellowstone National Park, to see the faces at Mt. Rushmore or Mexico just to name a few. We spend a lot of time helping out at the family ranch throughout the year which we all enjoy very much. When we’re at home, we spend a lot of time outside playing basketball, at our neighborhood park, spending time with our neighbors and their kids that are now like family, going to the movies, zoo, fishing, gardening, and cooking. Breken and I love to cook! Sometimes we all just snuggle on the couch under one blanket and watch a movie together at home.
We know that what could be the happiest day of our lives might very well be the hardest of yours. As you face this most difficult decision, please know that you are covered in prayer and loved by two strangers who would be blessed to meet you and your little one. And, if you so choose, we would be honored to be a part of this journey with you-through the tears and the joys.
We admire your strength and courage in considering adoption. If chosen, we promise to provide a home filled with stability, laughter, and unconditional love.
With Love
Brian, Brytni and Breken
