Gary and Terena

Dear Birth Family,

Our names are Gary and Terena.  We want you to know how much we appreciate you considering us to be the most important people in a child’s life, parents. We have tried now for nearly five years to have our own children, and it just isn’t in God’s plan. We want to be parents so badly, and we are very excited about the opportunity. We want you to know what an amazing gift you are giving us, and what a great life this child will have. On Terena’s side of the family this child will be just grandchild number two, and on Gary’s side it will be the first.  Everyone in our family has been waiting and asking about our progress with children, it would be a true blessing to be able to tell them we have a match. We appreciate your gift of something we haven’t been able to do, give birth to a child ourselves.

Terena works as a music teacher in Laramie at an elementary school, and Gary trains horses and helps families in a finance company. Both of us work hard and play hard. We enjoy life to the fullest. We attend St. Paul’s Newman Center Catholic Church on Sunday’s and Terena enjoys singing with the choir. Gary was just baptized, confirmed and had first Eucharist in April of 2009. Our child will be raised Catholic and will have a great understanding of the bible. We have been together now eleven years, and married for nearly eight. Our children will be a part of our everyday lives, and where we go, they will go. Keeping our children involved in our lives will show them how important they are. Sometimes we will need to get away and be alone, but for the most part, our child will be with us wherever we may go. Vacations and seeing the world are important to us.
