Preparation for Placement
Training is required of all waiting child adoption applicants to assist them in meeting the special challenges of parenting a child who has experienced trauma and loss. Special Needs Adoption Training addresses child abuse and neglect, grief and loss, attachment and bonding, discipline and self-esteem, and parenting children who have experienced sexual abuse.
