Carol Burman Lindly
As the Director of Wyoming Children’s Society, I want to welcome you to our agency. Whether you are a birth parent, an adoptive parent, a donor or fellow child welfare professional, you are important to us.
Wyoming Children’s Society was founded in 1911 to serve pregnant women and abandoned and homeless children. For a century this agency has served women in crisis, children in need of loving homes and families hoping to grow their family through the process of adoption. Our history is long and honorable and we are truly proud of the work we do in Wyoming and through our international adoption program in Russia.
It is truly my pleasure to work with a professional, caring and ethical staff that truly cares about the women, children and families we serve. The Wyoming Children’s Society Board of Directors represents over 150 years of leadership among our members. Their ability to visualize a better future for children and families has helped this agency become a leading adoption service provider in Wyoming and the United States. The Board is dedicated to the mission of this agency and those we serve.
As an adoptive parent myself, my work is not only a career choice but it is my passion. I have spent 32 years in the child welfare field, but my proudest accomplishment is my four children. Three of our children came home to our family from Korea and we were blessed with a daughter through birth. Family is very important to me and I am thankful to work with an agency where children and families are a valued priority.
