Wyoming
Children's Society is the oldest, non-profit, non-denominational
adoption agency in Wyoming. It has always been managed by a volunteer
Board of Directors.
The
Wyoming Department of Family Services has licensed Wyoming Children's
Society annually as an adoption agency/child placing agency since
1963. Prior to that, the Society was approved by the State Board
of Charities and Reform. Financial support is derived from private
contributions, memorials and bequests and fees for services.
